¿Has visto lo conocida que es la paella y el flamenco a nivel internacional?… a los guiris les dices “España”…y te sueltan…”OLÉ”

Pues lo mismo pasa con Chad en el mundo de la Fisioterapia Manual Internacional.

Es un fuera de serie en Valoración y Terapia Manual Ortopédica basada en la evidencia…y en 2015 tendremos la suerte y el privilegio de tenerlo en Córdoba para que nos enseñe eso que con los libros no llegas a entender.

 

El objetivo es aprender al máximo de él …bueno…vale…y también invitarle a una paella!!

1. INFORMACIÓN ACADÉMICA SOBRE CHAD COOK:

Fisioterapeuta, PhD, MBA, OCS, FAAOMPT.

Profesor y catedrático de la Universidad de Walsh y profesor asociado en la Universidad de Otago, en Nueva Zelanda.

El Dr. Cook, recibió la Licenciatura de Ciencias en Terapia Física en la Universidad de Maryville en 1990.

Se certificó de como Terapeuta Manual en el año 2001,  y logró el certificado de Especialización Ortopédica en el 2002.

Miembro de la Academia Americana de Terapia Manual Ortopédica desde el 2006.

Ha sido profesor del Método Maitland durante más de 15 años, y actualmente es el tesorero de la AAOMPT.

 

Ha Publicado más de 150 artículos y en la segunda edición de dos libros: “ Orthopedic Manual Therapy: An evidence based approach” y “Orthopedic Physical Examination Tests: An evidence based approach“.

Ha realizado más de 145 Presentaciones / Conferencias.

Es Editor de la Revista Manual Therapy y de otras 5 revistas internacionales.

 

El Dr. Cook ha ganado numerosos premios, siendo los últimos en:

2011 premio a la excelencia por su investigación en la AAOMPT

2012 premio por sus investigaciones junto a su compañero Williams Evans en la Universidad de Otago.

2012 y 2013 Premio en la Universidad de Walsh.
